Cogging torque test system for new energy vehicles

Introduction:

Most of the new energy vehicles use permanent magnet synchronous motors as the driving source. The cogging torque will cause the motor to produce vibration and noise, and the rotation speed will fluctuate, which makes the motor unable to run smoothly and affects the performance of the motor. In a variable speed drive, when the torque ripple frequency is consistent with the mechanical resonance frequency of the stator or rotor, the vibration and noise generated by the cogging torque will be amplified. The existence of cogging torque also affects the low-speed performance and high-precision positioning of the motor in the speed control system. The test of cogging torque is clearly defined in the national standard GBT/30549-2014, and the cogging is tested by the bench. Torque test is used to test and verify the characteristics of the motor.
